Okaloosa Island is located between Fort Walton Beach and Destin Florida, and is generally considered the Gulf Front community known as "The Emerald Coast." This is the part of Florida's beach that magazines and surveys consistently rate in the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world. Okaloosa Island is known for its silky, brilliant white sand and emerald green waters.

Okaloosa Island has a picturesque pier and boardwalk that features nightly entertainment, great seafood restaurants, shopping and some of the most incredible sunsets ever seen.

One of the most remarkable sights are the "dancing dolphins." These gentle creatures mesmerize visitors as they twist and turn in the shallows along the Santa Rosa Sound or you can watch them play in the Gulf of Mexico from the comfort of your balcony while your enjoying breakfast.

Nearby Destin Fl is known as "the luckiest fishing village in the world." Destin has one of the largest charter fishing fleets in the United States. It’s really fun to go fishing in the morning and then have a family barbeque back at the resort in the late afternoon.

Other recreational activities include pontoon and wave runner rentals, parasailing, snorkeling, sunset cruises and sightseeing cruises.

A special place of interest on Okaloosa Island is the Gulfarium, this is one of the oldest aquariums in the country and fun for the entire family.
